From the perspective of the man who arrived on the moon, Prometheus could recognize in the blue and shining Gaia the planet of hope and the ark of humanity. A new awareness of the limits of the Earth and a new nostalgia can today open men's eyes and lead them to share the choice of Epimetheus who married Pandora married the Earth. We now need a name for those who believe more in hope than in expectations. We need a name for those who love people more than products, for those who believe that
"There are no uninteresting men.
Their destinies are stories of planets
Everything, in the single destiny, is singular,
and there is no other planet that looks like it. "
We need a name for those who love the land on which everyone can meet. We also need a name for those who collaborate with their Promethean brother to light the fire and shape the iron, but they do it to increase their ability to assist, care and help others, knowing that
"Everyone has a mysterious world of his own
and in it there is the most beautiful moment
and the most anguished hour,
we just don't know about it. "
I propose that these hopeful brothers and sisters are called epimeteic men.

An invitation to carve a space that is temporary and modular. An editorial architecture of the future in which to dismantle identification generated from static space interactions. Words acquire a spatial meaning, the expansion of an O becomes a porthole, on the other side the landscape is ever changing and so we do. An exercise of imagination and mythical adaptation. An invitation to continuously redesign the filaments of our actions, feelings and thoughts. A wall transforming into a shelter, a bed, a page.

In order to prepare the body to a «performative» state - or state of « total presence » I would like to propose some psychocorporal workshops to experience together.
Conduced as collective games, these exercises takes inspiration from Butoh Training practices to Laboratory Theater experimentations. On these sessions we will insist on developing our proprioception (feeling the «sixth sens») and enhancing our receptivity to the environment in an immersive way. The workshop will aim to provoke an alterate perception of time, creating intimacy between participants and apprehending the idea of community on a corporal level. It is open to everyone, regardless of dance abilities. The goal is bring ours bodies to a free corporal expression.

In the story of Apollodorus, Zeus had decided to destroy the human race with a great flood because he saw it now corrupt and brutalized. Deucalione learned about it from his father Prometheus, who advised him to build an ark on which to put himself and his wife in safety. Deucalion fabricated the ark on which they climbed and Zeus submerged the Hellas with the flood to eliminate the "bronze lineage". After nine days and nine nights of storm, Deucalione and Pirra landed on Mount Parnassus. Then Zeus sent Hermes to them to fulfill their wish. Deucalione asked to give birth to a new generation on Earth.
Posto Segreto o ni Marcuzzu, come viene chiamato dagli Alcamesi, riparte.

‘Posto Segreto (Secret Place) - ni Marcuzzu’ is a residency space for gathering, sharing and gentle resistence. It was re-activated during summer 2019, after 10 years of abandon, by a heterogenous community made of local and non-local people.
Posto Segreto is placed in Sicily, halfway between Trapani and Palermo, between Alcamo and Alcamo Marina, in the countryside, surrounded by vineyards and lands dedicated to agricolture, 30 minutes walking from the sea.
After a first season of spontaneous residences of artists, activists, farmers, cooks, simple visitors, travellers, musicians and so on, we started dreaming and imagining to continue this experience. We decided to restart in a more organised way of managing the spaces, its functions, its residency policies, its sustainability.

For what is concerning the summer season, we are working on a series of activities, workshops, itineraries, rituals and much more. With the intention of re-activating that comunitarian and spontaneous spirit we experienced last summer. With the will of respecting the positive power of the entropy we generate when we gather, but protecting those who expose themselves the most (economy, responsabilities, energies and invested time) in the activation of our project.

P.s. is located here.
From Palermo there are various busses that leave to Alcamo, this is the website where you can check the timings and buy the tickets, if you arrive with the train stop at Castellammare del Golfo
